  19. NOTE:  Please be polite by limiting your system-intensive FTPing to
  20.        non-peak hours (like after 5 p.m. and before 7 a.m.)

  22. For those unfamiliar with ftp:

  24. On UNIX systems (not sure about any others):

  26. 1.  Enter the command:  ftp ftp.cs.uwindsor.ca
  27. 2.  You'll be prompted for your userid; enter:  anonymous
  28. 3.  You'll be prompted for your password; enter your email address
  29.     (e.g. xyz@bigcorp.com)
  30. 4.  Enter the command:  cd /pub/local/text/vampyres/pics/incoming
  31. 5.  Enter the command:  binary
  32.     ...if you forget this one; the gif will not be viewable!
  33. 6.  Enter the command:  get snack.gif
  34.     ...transfer will take a while, between 2->5 minutes depending on
  35.        your link...
  36. 7.  When it completes, enter the command:  quit
