- I have a server based on a sparc running 4.1.2 connected to the outside
- world via a slip connection.
-
- I have a need to be selective about the packets that come in and go out
- both in terms of what they are, where they are from and who they are to.
- I don't have anything like a cisco router to put in between unfortunately,
- I want the sun to do it itself. I am aware of inetd replacements like
- log-tcp but that doesn't help with outgoing connections.
-
- Has anyone seen or hacked up anything that will do this ? Seems like a
- common enough need, but I don't know how to go about doing it myself.
