- Mary Ellen,
- The best thing you can do to regain control is EAT A NORMAL MEAL.
- If you deprive yourself now, you'll perpetuate the pattern! Just
- focus on getting yourself back on track and feeling normal, instead
- of jumping between extremes. See if you can make it through the day
- with the idea in mind that you are taking care of yourself: get some
- excercise, drink lots of water, snack on veggies if you need a
- snack, and go to bed early!
-
- Don't worry about having gained weight and facing your family. It
- could be that the thought of dealing with your family is what is
- causing you the anxiety that pushes you towards food! If anyone
- says anything about your figure, just tell them, "Yes, I'm
- struggling with this and I sure could use your support."
-
- When you see your family over the holidays, focus on conversation
- and not food!
-
- Boy this holiday thing is a big issue!
