- Well, I still haven't decided (we're going tonight for free-we had
- to postpone our original trip that was scheduled for Tuesday) but there
- are a couple of things that make this club different. Its in a hotel
- so I don't think it will go out of business. Also, there was no
- pressure to join. I'd have to guess its becuase the staff doesn't
- get a commision. In fact, I think the owner keeps the price
- high 'cause he doesn't want alot of members (since the facilities
- are also open to hotel guests). There are no classes but there's
- no way I'd attend them anyway. If I'd wanted to the Y has plenty
- but I'm not the group activity type! I think you can also pay
- per session at this club but its like $8. So if one person went
- 3 times a week it would cost more than having the married membership.

- I know what you mean. I live 30 miles north of Syracuse, NY. There
- are alot more (cheaper) clubs there but if I had to drive 30 miles....
- This club is about 5 minutes away. I could walk....if I had to...
