- That cub sounds expensive, however I know that some clubs in my area
- are very posh and quite expensive. Some are dumpy looking, have pretty
- good equipment and are cheaper.
-
- There's a wonderful health/fitness club that is connected with a
- hospital in San Diego and it has everything you could ever want. It's
- just a beautimus looking environment. The only draw back is that the
- lowliest membership is $400 and the monthly dues are $50. Ouch!
-
- I'm about to quit my club. It's kind of a dump, but I've been a member
- for a couple of years. It's not a chain (I hate those big chains) and
- it had a great swimming pool and good aqua aerobic classes in the summer.
- It was never really crowded, except in the h2O aerboic classes. But
- I now have nautilus machines at work to use and I like walking on my
- lunch hour. Plus, I just bought a NordicTrack! I like that much better
- than the stair master and life cycles because it's easier on my back
- and knees.
-
- So, if you've got the money to spend on a posh club, you might just
- do it for fun. I always liked the idea of belonging to a posh club
- that would pamper me.
