- Hi again. I think this group is great and I wanted to write
- about my food problem. I am a graduate student and am constantly
- feeling bad about my job and about how I am doing it. I use
- food as a treat to make myself feel better. During the day I
- can usually avoid snacking and eating high fat stuff but at night
- I go home and I feel bad and watch TV and worry and just eat.
-
- I'm not doing REALLY bad; my weight is pretty stable right now
- if a bit high. The problem is that I want to get to a point where
- I can deal with the bad things in life straight on instead of
- medicating myself with chocolate and Cheers reruns.
-
- Another reason that things are bad for me right now is that I have been
- fighting a nagging lower back injury for a long time. When I
- am running regularly I find it a lot easier to just eat when I
- am hungry.
-
- For now I am trying to eat a big dinner so I'll be too full
- to snack much and I have just gotten a low impact aerobics tape;
- I hope my back can take it. And I read this newsgroup :-).
- Thanks for being there... Linda.
