- As the subject header says (sorry it got too long and wrapped around), but I
- heard this about the Ivy marching bands before I applied to Columbia and it
- was recounted by a former band manager who now works for Columbia's admissions
- I think. Here it goes.

- Apparently years ago (but still in 1980s I think) there was an Ivy band
- conference at Harvard and this Dartmouth representative happened to see a bunch
- of HS seniors and juniors on a tour so he faked slowly spazzing out and then
- broke out and running everywhere I guess screaming about how hard it was
- at Harvard. Anyone care to elaborate or validate?
