  13. As the subject header says (sorry it got too long and wrapped around), but I
  14. heard this about the Ivy marching bands before I applied to Columbia and it
  15. was recounted by a former band manager who now works for Columbia's admissions
  16. I think. Here it goes.

  18. Apparently years ago (but still in 1980s I think) there was an Ivy band 
  19. conference at Harvard and this Dartmouth representative happened to see a bunch
  20. of HS seniors and juniors on a tour so he faked slowly spazzing out and then
  21. broke out and running everywhere I guess screaming about how hard it was
  22. at Harvard. Anyone care to elaborate or validate?
