- serger books I checked didn't discuss regular thread types, just the
- decorative ones. I started checking out other sources and found the
- following in _Power Sewing_ by Sandra Betzina, which may be of
- interest to you.

- sewing machine. Even though good-quality thread is more expensive,
- the investment is worth it. Many overlock repair problems are caused
- by poor-quality thread. Your best choice for the overlock is a fine
- long-staple thread with as little lint buildup as possible."
