  10. Gosh, never thought I'd see a full-blown flame war in alt.sewing.  This
  11. seems to have gone on for days and days (it's been several days -- weeks,
  12. actually, since I've read the newsgroup, so I'm getting it all at once).

  14. I think that it's time for all to remember that piece of sage advice:
  15. "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."  I know that
  16. all parties involved have very strongly-felt opinions, and they have 
  17. reasons for feeling the way they do about the subject.  But many of those
  18. who have criticized Mary Otto have displayed the same sort of venom that
  19. Please let's have a return of the helpful 
  20. this newsgroup such a pleasant and informative forum for sharing ideas.
