  31. THE PARTY 1991 was, according to you, the diskmags, newspapers, and
  32. computer magazines, the biggest & best Amiga Party ever. And as everybody
  33. wanted a second party, we (The Organizers) would like to invite YOU to:

  38. WHERE AND WHEN?
  39. ---------------
  40. THE PARTY 1992 will be held in the same huge conference centre as last
  41. year, but this time we will not only use Hall 1 but also Hall 2 and 3. That
  42. means 6500 Square metres, almost 3 times as large an area, as last year.
  43. The party place is located in Aars, 35 KM south of Aalborg, Denmark, and
  44. will be held from Sunday the 27th of December at 0800 CET to Tuesday the
  45. 29th of December 1992 at 1500 CET.
  46.  
  47. FACILITIES:
  48. -----------
  49. - Room for at least 1500 people, including tables and chairs for everybody.
  50. - At least one FREE bus will drive nonstop from Aalborg Railroad Station to
  51. the party place, both the first and the last day! So if you are going by
  52. train, then travel to Aalborg. A new highway has been made since last year
  53. so it won't take long to drive.
  54. - Enough electricity for everyone, with a professional electrician 24 hours
  55. a day to avoid any power problems.
  56. - All info about what's going on will be published on a large bulletin
  57. board, infoscreens, the big screen, and the infochannel.
  58. - 300x250cm high quality screen for competitions, movies etc. This is the
  59. same screen which people liked last year.
  60. - Extremely powerfull HI-FI equipment to guarantee perfect soundquality.
  61. Last year people complained that the speakers were playing too low. Yes,
  62. the soundquality was good, but too low. This was because of the sound
  63. equipment we ordered never arrived, so we had to use some home equipment.
  64. We now have a written contract with a Discoteque, so this time, you better
  65. put cheese in your ears.
  66. - A real cafeteria will be open in the day time and at night there will be
  67. a small Snack Bar selling all the Low Life food you may need. And YES, last
  68. time people complained that the food etc. was too expensive so we have done
  69. something serious about this: The cafeteria got a new management, and that
  70. means: LOWER prices!
  71. - This time we have 3 TV channels and 1 radio channel which will be
  72. broadcasted so anyone who bring a TV-set/radio and an antenna will be able
  73. to watch: 2 moviechannels, 1 infochannel, and listen to 1 radio channel.
  74. Last time there was recieving problems, but this time a transmitter has
  75. been build to ensure perfect broadcast quality.
  76. - The toilet facilities are good and if you want a shower then that's ofcoz
  77. possible too.
  78. - A Lazerdisc room with a big screen and dolby pro logic surround sound,
  79. showing new lazerdiscs 24 hours a day!!!
  80. - Cleaning personel to ensure that you will be able to walk around in the
  81. halls.
  82. - Modemtrading, so all new stuff will be freely distributed in the
  83. reception.
  84. - Stand with a local computer store, selling disks etc.
  85. - Lugage room, for those wanting to have taken care of their equipment,
  86. with small fee.

  108. - Overall Demo/Music/GFX rulez:
  109.         - All contributions must be delivered at the reception near the
  110.         entrance to one of the organizers.
  111.         - The people taking part in the competitions must be present at the
  112.         party.
  113. - Demo Competition:
  114.         - Each group can contribute with as many demos as they want to, but
  115.         only one demo from each coder.
  116.         - Max. Demo length: 30 min.
  117.         - The demos must be able to run on a standard (1.2/1.3) A500 with
  118.         1MB memory. If they don't, bad luck...
  119. - Music Competition:
  120.         - Each musician is allowed to contribute with 1 tune.
  121.         - We will play a maximum of 6 minutes per module.
  122.         - Your tune must be delivered as an executable file to avoid any
  123.         problems with players etc.
  124. - Gfx Competition:
  125.         - Each artist is allowed to contribute with 1 picture.
  126.         - The picture must be loadable from DPaint4.
  127. - Intro Competition:
  128.         - Intro length max: 40KB.
  129.         - The intro must be able to run on a standard 1 MB Amiga 500.
  130.  
  131. PLEASE NOTE:

  133. - We will not accept anybody selling food, disks etc. etc. etc.
  134. - People who can't behave will be thrown outside until they can,, real
  135. troublemakers will ofcourse be handed over to the police.
  136. - People who cause any damages will ofcourse have to pay for it.
  137. - Please help us by putting your trash in the trashcans and bags. Reason? -
  138. last year 20 people used 2 days to do it.
  139. - If you have made a video or something else amazing, bring it with you and
  140. we'll gladly show it at the big screen. Just hand the productions to an
  141. organizer in the reception near the entrance.
  142. - We take no responsibility for illegal swapping, software, video etc.
