  32. I think its obvious by comments I've heard, that some men "use" romance to
  33. "catch" a woman's attention.  You hear comments like "my husband USED to
  34. give me flowers and stuff, but not since we got married."

  36. Likewise, some women "use" things to attract men.  Again, comments like
  37. "my wife USED to dress up and look nice when we went out, but now she's a
  38. slob most of the time."

  40. I think this indicates something sad.  We should not USE things to attract
  41. one another that are not "us."  We should be ourselves and find someone who
  42. loves us for whatever that is.  If a man appreciates romance and its part of
  43. him, then he should act on that.  If a man doesn't appreciate romance, then
  44. he should not force himself to do things that don't have his heart in it.
  45. Likewise, if a woman doesn't usually wear certain kinds of clothing or tons
  46. of makeup, she shouldn't dress up and make up everytime she sees a guy.  He
  47. will think that's the way she is.  We need to present ourselves in a honest
  48. and open way and let someone fall in love with us for who we really are.
