  13. First I FINALLY get a chance on Nov 1 to go take some
  14. time and go through ALL of my news - and all the other
  15. groups seem to have SOME messages, even on a Sunday,
  16. but a.r.c was quiet.  Oh well, it's a Sunday, the day
  17. after Halloween, and since it was on a Saturday, maybe
  18. everyone's recovering from parties and all...
  19.  
  20. But NO!  There's NO NEW MESSAGES FOR ALMOST *TWO WEEKS*!!

  22. Finally last Tuesday or Wednesday there's a breakthrough -
  23. I get a whopping 50 messages!! (this from a group that is
  24. known to have around 100 new messages per DAY???).  But
  25. it keeps up for a couple of days - slowly, but then all the
  26. groups are slow.  I get SOME of the backlog, but not much
  27. of it.  I KNOW there's more, because my work site has LOTS
  28. of messages per day.

  30. Then BAM!  Last Thursday - no new messages again!!  ARRRGH!

  32. (What, this is NOT alt.peeves???  TOUGH!!  I'm PEEVED!)

  34. So now it's 6:15 on Sunday the 15th - and there's a whole
  35. 10 new messages - mostly from Friday.  Will it happen again?
  36. Will I ever catch up?  I don't know who's here and who's
  37. not!?!?!?!

  39. Blade - you work at a key site - can you do me a BIG favor
  40. and pour some ex-lax into the system so I can keep getting
  41. my a.r.c fix???  I'm getting withdrawal symptoms!!
