  21. What's wrong with that?  If they're doing a "fabulous job" and are
  22. comfortable with their new lives, why question their choice of not dating?

  24. A year and a half ago I separated from my wife.  We had been married for
  25. 5 1/2 years and dated for 4 years before that.  Since then I've had to
  26. adjust to singlehood also, and its been a worthwhile (but painful) experience.
  27. I've learned a lot about myself and I've done many things I would not have
  28. had the chance to do otherwise.

  30. I haven't gone on a date since then and I don't intend to.  Perhaps it's
  31. "too much trouble" for me also.  However, I made the choice to look after
  32. myself and I think I'm doing a reasonable job of that.  I don't need another
  33. person to complete my life.  I'd rather become a whole person by myself.
