- Well, I answered my own question today. I disassembled by 200XLT and
- de-soldered the 10K surface mount resistor above the flatpack IC.
- The resistor came off easily, and I saved it by taping it to the inside cover.

- BTW: Even if it was damaged by my soldering iron, you can buy assorted
- surface mount devices at Radio Shack now. They sell a little bubble pack
- with about 30+ tiny things for a buck or two.
