- Hi, Kate! I'm the one who has the tape of about 100 short yoga workouts,
- and I too have two VCRs. I'll be happy to copy it for you and mail it
- to you. Send me private email (DDRAKE@INDYCMS) with your address.

- As for your other comments, for the first year I was absolutely amazed
- at how little I could do. Walking to the mailbox was often the main
- event of the day. I remember one day, after feeling pretty good for a
- few days, deciding to try mopping the kitchen floor. That short spurt
- of domesticity decked me for a week.
-
- The theme is repeated over and over ... do what you can, listen to your
- body, ignore your programmed messages. Don't push - ever. It doesn't
- work.
-
- I have gotten better over time. I'm not well now - I still schedule
- 10 hours sleep/laying in bed at night and a 2 hour nap in mid-afternoon.
- But I'm coping. I just got very concerned at my loss of muscle strength,
- and the yoga definitely helps. (I had trouble getting out of a chair
- one day, and could tell that it was lack of muscle tone, not CFS
- tiredness.)
-
- Here's one for the group: How do you answer the well-meaning friends
- who say "You still have that? Well, what are you doing about it?"
- Our action society can't accept the answer "Waiting for it to go away",
- which is exactly what I'm doing.
