  32. To put it simply they were clive barkers best writings.
  33. In my opinion this is because he had not tried to become popular.
  34. Even barker who is my idol has moderated his writing and in doing so lost
  35. some of his style.
  36. The Books of blood were grity and dam right nasty. I have read all 6 
  37. of them and I recomend any true horror fan to do the same.
