  13. This may seem like a strange question but I need to ask it nonetheless.
  14. I have had an electric guitar for about three years now and I am not 
  15. satisfied with my current set-up.  Right now I have a Peavey Patriot
  16. guitar and a small Gorilla practice amp (with built in distortion).
  17. I would like to buy some guitar effect pedals but I don't know which
  18. ones I should get, since I don't know what they do.  I would like to get
  19. some effects that will allow me to play a considerable wide range of
  20. music (rock, heavy metal, pop, etc...)  Are there any suggestions?
  21. Anything to stay away from?  Replies will be greatly appreciated, either
  22. by e-mail or posting.  Thanks...
