  14.       Thanks to all the replies I received regarding the weight of a 4x12
  15. Marshall cab.  Various estimates put it in the neighborhood of 90-100 lbs.
  16. Considering the size of it, that puts it in the "major hernia" category for
  17. a single-I-can't-afford-a-roadie player like myself!  This brings me to 
  18. my next question:  any recommendations as to 2x12 cabs (slant-top 
  19. preferred)?  Anyone with experience running a 2x12 versus a 4x10?  
  20. Oh well, back to the search for the ultimate tone...I know it's out there
  21. somewhere!
