  30. The only town called Whitefish Bay I know of is a Milwaukee
  31. suburb.  This is nowhere near where the Fitzgerald sank (L.
  32. Michigan and L. Superior being different lakes).  I looked on a
  33. michigan map, and there doesn't appear to be a town of that name
  34. on the Michigan side of the bay (over in Ontario, maybe?)--just
  35. Whitefish Point and Paradise.
