- The Whitefish Bay (the bay) that Gordon Lightfoot is refering to is on the
- eastern end of Lake Surperior, very close to Sault Saint Marie. The only
- Whitefish Bay (the town) that I know of is in Milwaukee County. My memory
- is a little dim though, since I moved from Wisconsin (Cedarburg) in 1976.
