  20. For most people the tendency is to consider throwing cheap because it
  21. requires from them a bit more skill than just sitting there and
  22. blocking all day long.  This is true because people think that, after
  23. they've learned how to block, they can beat anyone. That will work
  24. against the machine, so now they think they are "masters" and get
  25. pissed off when any player who has learned how to throw beats them.

  27. At least around here, I've never seen anyone who is any decent crying
  28. "cheap" at any combo or tick.

  30. All of the stuff that is regularly tagged as cheap is actually easier
  31. to counter than some "non-cheap" moves, and can be learned just by
  32. watching (no you don't even need to read the net).

  34. I really think that NO technique is cheap or unfair - everything can be
  35. countered or "plagiarized" by the opponent, if he is any good. But then
  36. if he is not, you can beat him "jabs-only" or "one-hand" or whatever,
  37. so you're guaranteed not to be called 'cheap'.

  39. And saying that some techniques allow bad players to beat people above
  40. their level is ridiculous - extreme bullshit. Of course a newbie can
  41. pull off a short-short-throw on you every now and then, but so what? It
  42. won't kill you. Even if it does, that's why there are 3 rounds.
