  13.     The consensus on the net seems to be that Zangeif kicks Bison's
  14. butt.  I do well with him against the few Bison players there are here
  15. at CMU, but I'm not convinced of this fact since I don't think the ones
  16. we have here are any good, and certainly not "masters".  I'm not sure
  17. what Zangief can do to counter the scissor kick.  I recently crouch
  18. jabbed Bison out of it, but I'm not sure if this works consistently. 
  19. Usually I just block and try to get the SPD off or even let it hit me
  20. and SPD.  If they try to crouch sweep or do any other ground attack
  21. after the scissor kick, then they're gonna be going up and coming down
  22. hard (most of the time at least).  However, if they just jump back I
  23. have a lot of trouble getting it off.  Is it because my timing's off or
  24. is it just impossible?  The scissor kick is the biggest reason I'm not
  25. convinced that Zangeif has that much of an advantage over Bison.  If the
  26. crouch jab stops the scissor kick consistently, then Zangief has a
  27. counter to just about every one of Bison's moves (scissorkick,torpedo,
  28. head stomp).  It may take a little guessing, but if Zangief guesses
  29. right, then Bison can kiss one-third (approx.) of his energy goodbye.
