- Consider though, that Honda is a pretty demented stereotype, an
- inaccurate view of how foreigners might see the Japanese. A sumo
- wrestler with kabuki face paint who practices in a public bathhouse?
- Come on. And Ryu, the angsting moron who walks around looking for an
- honorable fight, walking toward the sunset with the wind in his
- hair--what kind of cheezoid crap is that? All the characters are
- exaggerated and silly--there's no malice on the designers' part.
- There's no insensitivity either, I think. The designers are having as
- much fun with the Japanese characters as they are with the others.
-
- And not to rehash an old argument but Ken is Japanese. :)
