- We have the same thing here at Rice, but it's not based on rank. It's
- 10 minutes for everybody, be they lecturer or full professor. I know when
- I was an undergrad, there was more than one occasion where everyone was
- looking at their watches expectantly, and just when 9min45sec had elapsed,
- in walks the prof, to a subdued chorus of groaning.
