  19. We have the same thing here at Rice, but it's not based on rank. It's 
  20. 10 minutes for everybody, be they lecturer or full professor. I know when 
  21. I was an undergrad, there was more than one occasion where everyone was 
  22. looking at their watches expectantly, and just when 9min45sec had elapsed, 
  23. in walks the prof, to a subdued chorus of groaning.
