  32. opinion, is a religious belief; if one does not believe it, or
  33. has doubts about it -- in other words, if one is an atheist or 
  34. an agnostic in that regard -- there is no reason for one to 
  35. "admit" it.

  37. However, you err in saying "any" leftist ideology.  Some
  38. people normally defined as leftists do profess such beliefs.
  39. For instance, there are a large number of Christians, most of 
  40. them in Latin America, who are generally of a socialist,
  41. anarcho-socialist, or communist persuasion; they certainly
  42. believe in transcendent or absolute truth (their religion) 
  43. and certainly are leftists by most definitions.  In fact, in 
  44. terms of population, they may now be the dominant 
  45. manifestation of the Left.
