  10. According to this week's Time, the Catholic Church is defending its
  11. refusal to ordain women with the argument that women, not being
  12. men, would be unable to serve as convincing symbolic representatives of
  13. Christ, whose male status is well-documented.  A  woman advising the
  14. committee which is drafting the pastoral letter on this says, "Would you
  15. want Nick Nolte playing Mary in your nativity play?"
  16. So when do they start replacing all the florid hefty balding Irish
  17. priests with skinny long-haired bearded Palestinian Jews?
  18. I thought theologians were supposed to be good at arguing......
