- Basically, your problem is that you assume that relationships are based on
- purely rational grounds. A quick look at the relationships of those around
- you will find that this is not the case. Relationships of long-term or
- casual fling sort are basically initialised by a visceral reaction of some
- sort on behalf of the couple involved. Very rarely does one sit back and
- size up the attributes of a person in terms of their beleif structure and
- decide that this person is a ideal partner so I'll ask them out somewhere.
