And nor are they a self-perpetuating part of Catholicism; once that
priest dies, his successor can't claim "right of marriage"! It will be
interesting to see what happens if this breakaway group of Anglicans who
want to join the Catholic church is allowed to join; will they be
allowed to keep married priests, or will Rome insist on celibacy?
