  29. I believe that at least one branch of Catholicism got cut off by secular
  30. politics and diverged in this matter, and when re-connected, insisted on
  31. maintaining marriage for priests.
  32. I *know* that regardless of *how* it happened, it is true that some branches of
  33. Catholocism *can* marry, and are recognized as valid by Rome.
