  33. Whoa, there.  When you say "universally accepted", I hope you're
  34. restricting your "universe" to just the US (and maybe some parts of
  35. Europe).  Worldwide, women are generally looking at the the same structures
  36. that have lasted thousands of years - forced prostitution, dowry deaths,
  37. lack of citizenship and all the rest.  Equality is nowhere near
  38. "universally accepted".
