- Whoa, there. When you say "universally accepted", I hope you're
- restricting your "universe" to just the US (and maybe some parts of
- Europe). Worldwide, women are generally looking at the the same structures
- that have lasted thousands of years - forced prostitution, dowry deaths,
- lack of citizenship and all the rest. Equality is nowhere near
- "universally accepted".
