- I dont have my LotR with me now, so I cant check but I think this info
- is present in the appendix somewhere. I believe that guy is one of
- the Rohirrim, connected with the building of the hall (whatsisname);
- maybe Brego? Anyway I recall that it is told how the heir to the
- throne of Rohan boasted that he would pass that way, but when he went
- up there there was this old gent sitting there, who belched forth
- a prophecy (basically, nobody goes this way until xyz) and died. But
- Brego (?) goes anyway, and does not return. That perhaps is him.
