  25. I dont have my LotR with me now, so I cant check but I think this info
  26. is present in the appendix somewhere. I believe that guy is one of
  27. the Rohirrim, connected with the building of the hall (whatsisname);
  28. maybe Brego? Anyway I recall that it is told how the heir to the
  29. throne of Rohan boasted that he would pass that way, but when he went
  30. up there there was this old gent sitting there, who belched forth
  31. a prophecy (basically, nobody goes this way until xyz) and died. But
  32. Brego (?) goes anyway, and does not return. That perhaps is him.
