  20. Ah, yes, the folks from the Harvard Lampoon...what I remember best were
  21. some of the names substituted for the original LoR characters:
  22. Gandalf : Goodgulf (at the time the book was out, Gulf Oil had a
  23. gasoline       called Goodgulf)
  24. Gollum : Goddam
  25. Frodo : Frito
  26. Sam : Spam
  27. Legolas : Legolamb
  28. Saruman : Serutan (remember, Serutan spelled backwards is "natures")
