  13. The movie does indeed exist, and is actually pretty good (as far as
  14. any adaptation or abridgement of Tolkien possibly can be good).  I
  15. really don't know any specifics about the movie (like who created it,
  16. etc), but gollum was done pretty well --really slimy and nasty, but in
  17. a comic sort of way ('nasty hobitses, we hates them doesn't we my
  18. precious...good Baggins').  The animation is perhaps not as good as it
  19. could have been, and some of the best parts are omitted, like the Tom
  20. Bombadil episode and (I think) most of the parts with Treebeard, among
  21. others.  The Orcs are my favorite particular about the movie,
  22. especially the songs ('Where there's a whip there's a way').  Anybody
  23. else seen the movie?
