  12. The "Dance of the Puppets" are 7 easy piano pieces (without opus) which have
  13. been written between 1952 and 1962.
  14.  
  15. But there exists a collection of 25 piano pieces called "Roundabout of Dances"
  16. which contains all of the pieces from "Dance of the Puppets". I'm not sure if
  17. you will find them on the list of DSCH's works. I have the piano score for the
  18. "Roundabout of Dances" (Edition Sikorski, 1970). There is indicated clearly,
  19. that these pieces are "selected and arranged by L. Atovmyan".

  21. Some of the music appear also in DSCH's film music, notably the Suites from
  22. "The Gadfly" (1955) and "Michurin" (1964), of course in an orchestral version.
  23. There is no Suite of DSCH's film music, which has not been arranged or selected
  24. by Atovmyan.

  64. - The remaining pieces of "Roundabout...", do they also appear in DSCH's film
  65.   music? (The above list is based on my knowledge of the Suites from
  66.   "Michurin", "The Fall of Berlin", "The Golden Mountains", "Hamlet", "The
  67.   Gadfly")

  69. - Are these pieces piano transcriptions of DSCH's film music by Atovmyan?

  71. - Or did DSCH write the piano pieces first, and used them later in his film
  72.   music?

  74. - Who was L. Atovmyan?
