- OK, this sounds good to me, and if we're only to have bits and pieces
- how about the following:
-
- first 15 mins of 1st mvt, 10th symphony (can't be beaten :) )
- "" "" "" 7th symphony
-
- 3rd movement, 8th symphony (cut off before drumproll into 4th movement)
-
- bit of 3rd or 1st movemtn, 5th symphony...
-
- something from the 1st symphony, last movement, the middle-end bit?
-
- 1st piano concerto: last movement or 2nd movement bits
- 2nd piano concerto: 2nd movement or 1st
- 1st violin concerto: 3rd movement start.... first 5 minutes perhaps
-
- romance from gadfly :)
-
- um something from the bolt, or katerina?
-
- any other ideas?
-
- What if we get some people who *must* have old soviet recordings or
- whatever that wouldn't be covered by copyright? Then we could make
- a a.f.s library of old eastern bloc recordings :)
-
- just a thought...
