  28. nope, I like the 7 and 12. just played the 12 before. Interesting though the
  29. notes on my recording of the 12th (Jarvi on DG) says that the 12th is his
  30. (Shosts) worst symphony. Most prob. because it toes the party line more than
  31. any other (with possible exception of the 2nd and 3rd). And it is rather
  32. formal type stuff.... (but dare I say FORMALIST? No! don't confuse me!)
