- There is an important difference between people banding together to guarantee
- their individual rights, and people banding together to guarantee their group
- rights. A society which respects individual rights can be tolerant and
- liberal and provide the widest latitude for human achievement and happiness.
- A society that respects group rights is a society which institutionalizes
- racism, limits the latitude for human achievement, guarantees division and
- separatism, and precludes tolerance and harmony. Look around you and see which
