  32. I'm sorry but I find these last two statements to be unbearably pompous
  33. and self-righteous. Maybe this was not your intent when you wrote them
  34. but they come across to me as if you are soliciting for personal worship
  35. as some sort of "New White Male". I don't think anyone here disagrees
  36. about the fact that minorities have been brutally persecuted in this 
  37. country and continue to be discriminated against. What people disagree
  38. on is how the wrongs should be righted.

  40. I'm a white male and I *have* been discriminated and harassed (i'm 5'2").
  41. I have been called names since I was 5, discriminated against for 
  42. promotions and been beaten up simply because of my size. Nevertheless,
  43. I have built a career, raised a family, and live a satisfying life.
  44. My grandparents were poor Sicilians who came over on the boat and 
  45. were hated and discriminated against even by fellow Italians. This
  46. ongoing scapegoating of White Males for all of America's ills is
  47. ludicrous and self-defeating. It's just a symptom of denial coming
  48. from people who want to change the rules to favor themselves. Rather
  49. than climb a mountain they simply want to blow it up and walk through
  50. the rubble.

  52. As for Rush he certainly can be an ass at times but like all human
  53. beings he occasionally speaks the truth. Personally, I don't find
  54. him to be any more obnoxious than many of the people he lampoons.
  55. I certainly don't find him to be a hate-monger or a Nazi. These
  56. words are rapidly losing any real descriptive value thanks to their
  57. continued mis/overuse by people such as yourself. As for being *divisive*
  58. anyone who issues a dissenting opinion could be said to be divisive.
  59. Your inference that Rush is somehow less of a person than you because
  60. you've "broken loose from the blinders" would be hilarious if it weren't
  61. so pathetically self-serving. If I agree with Rush occasionally does
  62. that automatically make me a blindered White Male?

  64. BTW, If you'd like to meet some *real* White Nazi Hate-mongerers with
  65. blinders on why don't you come over here to Germany? I could set you
  66. up in an asylum hotel in Rostock for a couple of nights. Come to think
  67. of it you could just drive on up to Idaho for a day or two. Might help
  68. put things in perspective for you.
