  24. Similarly it's 17 days after Rush was proven wrong about his
  25. prediction of the outcome of the election. For someone who claims to
  26. be right 99% of the time, he surely messed up pretty badly here. His
  27. only way out seemed to have been claiming victory for
  28. 'conservatism', unwilling to accept what is obvious to everyone else
  29. but him and some of his blind followers. The elections mark the end
  30. of an era in which little or no attnetion was paid to the american
  31. people who needed help most. Resulting in Job loss, millions of people 
  32. uninsured, bigotry increasing, religuous influence on public policy
  33. increasing. We have entered an era of change, an era in which
  34. everyone will be given the oportunities to obtain at least the
  35. minimum baiscs, food, healthcare, housing, respect.
  36. But I am digressing. Rush is a great entertainer who has found a
  37. great market to make a few bucks. This market will not decrease
  38. after the elections, since many conservatives will need a shelter to
  39. recover from their losses. He is to be admired for his abilities to
  40. build up many followers who are willing to spend lots of money on
  41. their hero. After the failure of ripping of money from the religuous
  42. by so called Chosen ones, Rush has found the next best oportunity,
  43. pretend to be a conservative host who claims to be right almost
  44. always. Controversial material alwasy sells, like Madonna's book for
  45. instance. I admire Rush for his ability to mislead so many people
  46. into believing he is something more than just an entertainer who is
  47. often more wrong than right but says what people want to hear or
  48. believe.
  49. Sure, Rush will be around as long as people need to be told what to
  50. believe. Guess that's why there is no liberal equivalent of Rush.
