  16. After sitting here for about an hour pretending to be working on 
  17. a paper for Sociology that _was_ due last week, I just had this
  18. revelation come to me in the form of a vision:

  20. The vision involved me, sitting on a mountaintop, contemplating the world
  21. around me.  The sky was beautiful, the world was at peace, and
  22. everything was so very romantic, blah, blah, blah.

  24. Just then, a gigantic storm crashed though the sky, and millions of 
  25. scantily-clad women (all with either raven-black or red hair down to the
  26. middle of their back) rushed to greet me with their carnal gifts in a scene
  27. so spectacular that you'd never in your life see it in a low-budget post
  28. such as this one (notice my mouth isn't moving either).  Suddenly, with
  29. a deafening crack, the ground opened up and ...
  30.  
  31. AIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh... . . <blat>

  33. Every word of this is true, and it all happened to Tori Amos' version
  34. of "Thank You".  So much for pathos.
