- (Deleted discussion about rumours that Timothy Dalton may be replaced as James
- Bond)
-
- |> Certainly Mel Gibson is OUT. He would look ridiculous,
-
- Agreed!

-
- |> I haven't actually heard of Pierce Brosnan, what films has he been in?
-
- He played the terrorist in a spy thriller named something like "The Fourth
- Protocol" with Michael Caine. It came out around 1983. However, Pierce Brosnan is
- mostly famous for playing in an American television show called "Remington
- Steele." He's British. He looks like Bond. He talks like Bond. But he's just so
- WIMPY!

-
- Of these three, only Connery was fairly unknown when he was chosen for the part.
- But he was hand-picked by Ian Fleming. Roger Moore was already famous as The
- Saint. Timothy Dalton had been on the hoyty-toyty Shakespeare scene for years.
- You can check a young Dalton out in "The Lion in Winter" and in "Mary, Queen of
- Scots." The former movie is really hilarious because you get to see Dalton and a
- young Anthony Hopkins talk about having sex with each other.
