  28. I, myself don't know about Dalton quitting the series. I hope not, I think he's
  29. a good Bond, second only to Connery. A replacement is always a difficult problem.
  30. Certainly Mel Gibson is OUT. He would look ridiculous,
  31. and would not be able to exhibit the Britishness required for any degree
  32. of realism. He might have been a choice if he was an unknown actor, but
  33. I will always associate him with films such as Mad Max and Lethal Weapon,
  34. hardly playing Bond-like characters.

  36. I haven't actually heard of Pierce Brosnan, what films has he been in?

  38. What is required I think is a fairly unknown, preferably British, actor to take
  39. the role, just as Connery, Moore and Dalton were.
