  15.    As the publisher of an all-comics furzine, I've been following the
  16. discussion on the status of YARF! with interest and concern.  I agree 
  17. that it would be unfortunate to see such a quality, general-theme
  18. publication go the way of the passenger pigeon.  I also think it's a
  19. shame that YARF! subscribers are being left out on a limb for such a
  20. long time while the staff is deciding what to do.

  22.   So, for those of you YARF! subscribers who are suffering withdrawal
  23. symptoms due to a sorely-needed furry fix, I'd like to extend a special
  24. offer.  If you have an active subscription to YARF!, and can prove it,
  25. I will send you Issue 1 of my 'zine, "The New Affurmative Action!", 
  26. absolutely free!  (That's a $5.00 value at the cover price, not including
  27. postage and handling.)  The New AA! is a general-theme anthropomorphic
  28. publication and has no pornography or erotica of any kind, like YARF!,
  29. but what makes this 'zine unique is that it's also all-comics, every 
  30. issue.  (No pinups or text stories, in other words.)  And, perhaps
  31. best of all, it comes out bi-monthly.  Seriously.

  34.   Why am I making this offer?  Partly to introduce furry fans to an 
  35. alternative that they might not otherwise be aware of.  In addition, 
  36. though, I sympathize with how badly the YARF! subscribers (of whom I 
  37. am one) have been treated, and I'd like to do what I can to help them out.

  40. loves to hear from you.  New artists and subscribers are being added
  41. all the time, and there's always room for more.)
