  13. I had one dream last year in which I died. I won't go into the whole dream,
  14. but my death was caused by a nuclear explosion, after which I found 
  15. myself flying over the wreckage left by the blast. It was actually a
  16. fairly enjoyable dream. So much so, that, after I woke up later that night,
  17. I fell asleep and had the same dream again!

  19. I've also had horrible dreams in which I've been stabbed, gouged, or
  20. otherwise graphically injured. But I never died in those dreams; in those
  21. cases, it seemed like I changed into a different dream just before I was
  22. about to die. Or, sometimes I just wake up instead.

  24. In any cases, I doubt that there's anything special about dying in a dream.
