- In response to several queries about the object
- protruding from behind his head the Cybernetic
- Samurai removes his coat. He spies a clear path
- towords the door and performs two back handsprings,
- then a backflip, while simultaneously drawing his
- samurai sword (katana?). It has an intricately carved ivory
- handle. First looking to see that no one is in the
- way, he begins twirling the sword first in his left
- hand then his right, faster and faster, until the
- sword becomes nothing but a blur, occasionally
- reflecting light from the bar.
-
- (: Kids don't try this at home. :)
-
- Just as the velocity gets so fast that the sword
- begins to wistle continuously as it cuts through the air, the
- Samurai re-sheathes the sword, does two more back
- handsprings towords the bar, and a back flip to land
- neatly back on his barstool.
-
- (: Ok, Ok, its just like a bad ninja movie :)
-
- The Samurai places another dollar on the bar and
- says "Beer, please, Mike."
-
- He then turns to face the room.
-
- "Well, that answers that question. Now, as far as
- what to call me, mostly my friends call me Cyber,
- and y'all can to since y'all are such a friendly
- bunch."
-
- "Having listened smatterings of the current
- conversations which are taking place in here,"
- Cyber says, "just thought I might as well add my
- two yens worth."
-
- "I don't even remember the name of the first Sci
- Fi book I read. It was written by M. L'Engle and
- was about some kids who meet with a Mrs. Which
- and tesseract and such. It is a classic I just
- cant remember the name of it. It was also a
- trilogy. The first Sci Fi I really remember is
- reading the Tom Swift, Jr. stories out of the
- elementary school library."
-
- By now Mike has brought the beer, so when Cyber
- turns back around he grabs the beer, lifts it to
- his mouth, and drains it.
