  18. released yet.  Not quite the same thing.  Maybe somebody needs to speak
  19. to your local rep about how software is developed.

  24. I don't think the release date has been announced.  One can draw some
  25. general conclusions from the company's public positions: that it's
  26. releasing the various AutoCAD configurations more quickly than it has in
  27. the past, and that Windows is a platform of major importance.

  32. I'm not quite sure what this means.  If the R11 Windows extension didn't
  33. work, the company wouldn't be shipping it.  I hope.  If you mean, will
  34. it work in conjunction with R12, the answer is yes: on a special
  35. one-time-only deal, the databases of R11 and R12 are completely (well,
  36. supposed to be completely) compatible in both directions; so you can
  37. edit a drawing with alternate versions on alternate days, or whatever.
