  13. the problem with your statement is that in most parts of the world the water is undrinkable and thus the drinking of alcoholic beverages was the norm. 
  14. even christ drank wine with meals. wine,beer .. etc were drunk with meals for many reasons. but the best reason is cause it tastes good.
