- We get Michael Shea's down here in Philly and I can vouch that it's pretty
- tasty particularly for an inexpensive beer ($14/case). I grew up in Rochester
- and generally wouldn't touch anything from Genesee but this is definately an
- exception.
-
- Michael Shea's has a nice medium amber color, decent nose, a pleasent level of
- hopiness. The aftertaste is fairly clean. Sort of reminds me of Killian's
- before Coors basterdized the recipe.
-
- Considering that it's in the same price range as BudMillCoors, Labatt's, etc.
- I'd say that it's an exceptional value.
-
- As for the exact connection with Genesee (the label says 'brewed by the Micheal
- Shea Brewery, Rochester, NY' or something to that effect), I'm not exactly sure.
- Anyone got any information?
