- I think that it is not easy at all for Belgian Brewers to export their products
- to the States because American laws are quite tough with perishable products.
- So, exports costs quite a lot and the Belgian brewers want, at least, their
- money back... I talked once with a Brewery manager who said to me that he
- wouldn't try to export his beers (Saison Regal, Gauloise, St Benoit,...) which
- are quite famous in Belgium (you can find them in all supermarkets)to USA just
- because he didn't want to bother with any problems with American Customs Laws...

- Another point is that the Lambics breweries are now owned by the most important
- Belgian brewery called Interbrew. I suppose they want to get the most money from
- those beers to pay back part of the financial operation.
