- Could you be more specific? I've never been in England, so I don't know
- if the imports we're getting in the states are a good example of the popular
- stuff you actually get in the UK. Like I've said before, almost all of the
- ones I've tried (sans Bass, Double Diamond, and Watney's Red Barrel) have
- been quite good. Not remotely what I would call "piss water" (I would not
- even apply that derogatory term to the three English brews I don't like...
- they are easily better than any American megabrewery product).

- I've had draught Bass once, and it is indeed better than the bottled
- stuff, which I still think is pretty dismal...definitely not comparable
- to Old Peculier. I just don't know what happened to Bass...only a few
- years ago it used to be pretty good...now it has no character at all. :(
